"Alak pa!" madalas na bukambibig ko.

Hindi pa man natatapos ang klase ko, napapaginipan ko na ang alak. Iniisip ko kung ilang bote na naman ang mapapatumba ko habang nakikipaginuman sa 6 na lalakeng barkada ko.

Tubig at Gin bulag lang, ok na sa kin. Hindi ko naisip ang epekto no`n. Ang alam ko lang, masaya kong nakikitang unti unting gumagapang na ang mga kasama ko at akoý patuloy pa ring tumutungga.

Hanggang sa nagkatrabaho ako at nabarkadang muli. San Mig Light na, may sweldo na ako e. Pero hindi nasanay ang bahay alak ko sa isang nakakabagot at walang kalasa lasang beer. Ang alam ko lang baybayin ay ang makasunog bitukang hard drinks.

Hindi ako lasing habang sinusulat ko ito. Naalala ko lamang kung paanong ang bisyong halos araw araw kong pinagkakaabalahan ay unti-unti ng nawawala, at mawawala sa aking sistema.

Kung paanong ang bisyong ito ay mahirap kalimutan, ngunit mahirap gawin, ay isang bagay na kailangan ko sa tuwing naaalala ko ang lahat ng masasakit na nangyari, at kung paano ko saktan ang isang taong mahalagang mahalaga sa akin.

Naramdaman kong halos gumuhit sa aking lalamunan ang malamig na malamig na bote ng beer habang nakikipagtagisan ang aking utak sa mga alaala ng isang taong dati ay ako lang ang mahal.

Gusto kitang lasingin. Hindi para gahasain at pagsamantalahan, ngunit para makalimutan mo rin lahat ng sakit na idinulot ko.

Habang ikaý bangag at ginugupo ng kalasingan, sasaluhin ko na lang ang tagay na dapat sana ay saýo. Gusto kong iparamdam sa yo na ang isang tomador, matapang man sya sa lahat ng inuman, gimikan at awayan, sa isang bandaý gagapang din sya sa kalasingang minsan ay hindi nya pinangarap na mangyayari..pero nangyari.

too much excitement

…And another chapter of my life has been done. Uhhh, was that a complete chapter? Lemme say, a part of me was completed unexpectedly as I finished my oh-so late dinner at where else but McDonald’s Valero J -- this time finishing my 6-pc Mc Nuggets meal without regret, and it was like I am asking for more.

Unexpectedly, I was again connected to the Internet, BUUTTTT, for a lil less than 10 seconds-literally!. It’s nearly 3am and it’s not practical to have my dinner at Starbucks. And that’s why I’m blogging once again. (winky)

I don't look I am excited, it's more of nagulat factor :P and me, wearing my jejemon shirt!

Hmm, I’m not sure what to write but I think I’ll write what I’m excited on what will happen after my sought-after resignation, that will happen in exactly two weeks from now. Excited, but a bit upset, since I will be leaving office, my oh-so good friends who were deaf hearing my overrated love stories, whom I cried and make sumbong with and who I shared those happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts moment over too many buckets and cigarette butts.

Yes, I’m leaving my call center life and work independently as a site moderator, blogger and programmer while seeking adventures over WI-FI signals and coffee wherever it’s available. I’m excited, thinking about sleeping whenever I want to, not thinking about being late for the day, for those time that I will not be chased by dogs at wee hours and for taking more vacation leaves whenever I want to, best of all, I will not get any memos at all. J

Though I will miss my friends and those people that I’m eyeing, watching my crush/es pass by, I can just simply visit them on a one-text away mode.

It’s a good thing I finished the crying moments—and smiling now as requested by that dear someone(you know who you are ;)), I am more than excited to be with Amber anytime that she requested me to come home and buy those toys that she likes. Weehheee!! I’m excited to make some and enjoy some with those people that give me importance.

Moreover, I’ll start writing a book and have it published internationally with JUICYPEANUT. Darn! How can I get lucky that that huh?! There’s still life other than call center, which I served for like 10 years, and I have no regrets since it builds me for what I am today.

We've come to a point where ending is the only start of beginning something new. I think it's a matter of saying goodbye. It was a hurtful moment to see you crying while I am hiding on my own camera shedding what is supposed to be shared in the future. I cried like an ocean--like every movie I watched, that others thought it was funny to cry with.

It was an easy desicion to just forget everything and start anew. Yes, you don't deserve me. And I don't deserve the heart and heartbreaks. I will leave everything behind and start on a numb mode me again.

I've known you for years and your eyes are telling me that you are not happy and it wasn't easy but you still chose to leave everything behind.

It's another moment of misery, but everything will pass in time. I hope you'll find someone better than this. I thought you promised, with the darkened, burned cigs that I don't think your wallet is holding..I think we need to have it broken.

You'll be a part of my habit, and I'm throwing, deleting everything away and move on...

tiring day

Since I arrived home yesterday earlier than the usual, no traffic at all, I went ahead and work, only to find out that I will just be stressing myself on the phone and YM talking to someone. That was the last misery I promised myself, that I will ever experience and I won't let anyone to do the same.

I have found myself fixing at around 10 pm, preparing to have another WI-FI sessions somewhere(hadn't planned for anywhere to spend the night). I was riding a bus last night and I heard a very familiar song playing on the background--that is our freakin OA theme song! arrrgh! I couldn't hide shedding tears while on the public transport, remembering those lines --- "...hinahati ko ang time ko sa yo at sa kanila(friends)"

..."hindi sila ganun kadaling iwan..."

I am very familiar with breaking up with someone while having a third party relationship. O yeah, that was third party/ies... I cannot compete with friends.

I went ahead and walked to coffee bean but changed my mind seeing someone wearing a Davao shirt. I crossed the street and started walking to, once again, McDonald's.

I was on the lane and asked the crew if the WI-FI is on. She said it's down for maintenance--for the nth time. I asked another crew from the counter, near the store manager so she could hear me, if I can go online, and this time, she said, the WI-FI is on. I continued with my order, which I anticipated I wouldn't finish because of this planned hunger strike.

my diet for the night

I was connected to the server, howerver, I couldn't connect to the internet. Sinasabi ko na nga ba! So I opted eating my 6-pc super kunat na nuggets, when someone called "Meeeeeeeed" Huh??! I rushed eating and packed my laptop and walked to Starbucks. Phew, I ordered a small cup of half and half since I was still full at that time. While I was taking upstairs, there are coupla law students from Lyceum doing a group study, crowding the place. I tried concentrating but I think last night was the most unlikely, unlucky night that I could get.

I was getting very lucky!! I left the place, really frustrated. I went to Seattle's Best, checked if there were some signs that I could avoid -- none. I started unpacking my laptop, once again, and smoked...when my phone rang.

Shit happens and it just happened to me. I went to the counter and ordered a cold frappe and started working.

And I tortured myself by continously talking, and finishing everything. I couldn't explain how hurt I was but I didn't really care if the guard kept looking at me while shedding tears. That might be the last teardrop for the night. I am tired.

non-friendly WIFI spot

The other night, I stopped at McDonald's Valero again to connect to the internet, hoping that the WIFI is up at that time. Good thing it was. I didn't order at once, looked for the manager and asked if the WI-FI is working. Lo and behold, it was.

I starved myself from being home at 3:30 in the afternoon, went out to have my glasses fixed and had my nails done and ate 4 pcs. of Master Siomai. I tried to sleep, gosh I tried, after watching coupla episodes of Diva from the internet, facebooking and chatting with *toot* and oh, I really couldn't get my eyes closed at 6pm!

I woke up at 10 in the evening(I didn't even know if I really fell asleep long) and fixed myself, sweating because of the everlasting sauna fever at home and outside.

I was thinking about having Starbucks as my first stop but darn, my 29 year old anaconda in my belly was shouting heavily that it was really on a hunger strike.

now a 1 pc fried chicken meal, I didn't even bother to start my laptop first :P

I turned my laptop on while eating and started enjoying their super fast WI-FI. It's really fast that I could multi-task forever..

Enjoying too much wasn't enough. I asked a crew if they have power outlets when I noticed that my battery is half full. I was really amazed to find out that they don't. This is so so not friendly spot.

I have been wi-fiing since then to other hot spots that offer free service and they have power outlets. This time, my work plans won't work anymore because anytime my battery will go dead.

phew... too much rants for the day. Best things in life are free they say, but being an expected commenter, overly-abusive and a freakin customer like me, free services have a catch.. this time, I was caught with an hour worklog for the week to complete it. (angry sweep)

I decided to start working today wherever I found WIFI signal, unfortunately my first stop wasn’t that successful. I was here in McDonald’s Valero, no internet access due to internet signal failure. Heyyy lowww!!! I learned this after ordering medium-sized French fries, 6 pieces nuggets and a medium coke, now, how can I leave the place with this anti-diet gastro food?

here’s my diet, watch me as I gain more weight every night, ok?

After my homework logged for about an hour, I slept until 11pm(with matching tawad pa twice since I set the alarm at 10 :P). It is really a fucked up schedule since it changes every two weeks. And yeah, my shift this week is as early as 3:15 am and I freakin woke up at around 11pm. You asked me why would I wake up at 11 when my shift is at 3? Tell me about it, strayed dogs are chasing me all night. I’ll take a picture of chasing dogs when I get my camera repaired(and yes, I’ll try to leave home at wee hours like 1am or so and be chased).

Now my decision of continuing to work here in Mc Donald’s is messed up. I NEED INTERNET ACCESS!. And right now, I’m killing time, sleepy eating my at-this-time 3 pcs. Nuggets, and half fries and no-more ice matabang na coke, while listening to my mp3 with my orange bug headset. I am totally fucked up because of this. And I am wondering about the 3 hour-training later, I will definitely sleep.

It looks like that my blog will be alive once again if there will be no internet access and share my food trip with everyone.

Onset of the year, I have updated this blog with an overrated 2010 resolution. Let's find out if it happened, or it was achieved...

Let me copy the resolution I have written few months back..
1. I will be filing a resignation when I came back from vacation. Hopefully before I do that, I already have found a better job that will not discriminate rights.

2. I will be fixing my finances. It is hard to move within a budget, thinking some bills and some responsibilities without anything on my pocket. But I need to start thinking how I could earn more than the usual. I am afraid of losing a lot this year, job, my crib, my almost broken phone, my internet connection..but I am still hopeful I can get a remedy for it.

3. I am anticipating of celebrating my birthday quietly. Like I said, I would need to think about some financial responsibilities first before thinking about myself more. And I hope by next month, everything will turn into normal.

4. I will be in Davao by vacation. I don't plan for any travel this year. But I don't think a travel to one destination isn't bad at all.

5. Amber will celebrate her 7th birthday this year, so I need to plan for her birthday. ;)

Let's take a review one by one....

hmmm, I filed a resignation after my vacation. It was unexpected but time made it happened. I found a better job/s..which I also learned that call center isn't the end job at all. A stepping stone for many? yes it is. the training, the people and the concept behind it, helped me achieved who I am now. I can now decide freely, choose whichever job and whatever time I want to work. Now I am ready to leave the call center industry and start my freelance homework anytime =)

2. I will be fixing my finances. It is hard to move within a budget, thinking some bills and some responsibilities without anything on my pocket. But I need to start thinking how I could earn more than the usual. I am afraid of losing a lot this year, job, my crib, my almost broken phone, my internet connection..but I am still hopeful I can get a remedy for it.

I never thought that after the financial crisis that hit the stockmarket, I was left shocked sipping my starbucks coffee that I thought I will replace with 3-in-1 Nescafe from then. I never did imagine that I could find a reliable buyer at times that I am almost totally broke. Now, finances are fixed. I can move without the budget and I am free of any financial responsibilities.

3. I am anticipating of celebrating my birthday quietly. Like I said, I would need to think about some financial responsibilities first before thinking about myself more. And I hope by next month, everything will turn into normal.

uhmmm, how did i celebrate my birthday again??? any thoughts? nakalimutan ko na ata. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I had an ice cream blast in 24/7 with co-workers. Simple, yet fun!

As if I was feeling betrayed all the time or something, until someone made me realized one thing, I am not happy anymore.

But why does it hurt? Do I miss the person really? or do I miss the habit of talking to someone when I'm at home? I think I'll take the second one as the answer.

I have lied a lot about everything, missed everything that needs to be said and done. I could see the future in my dream..just in my dreams. but suddenly it hits me. She will never change. she said sorry bluntly but never did make any changes at all.

I can go on with my life, just like the old times. I have experienced a lot pain than this. I just missed the fact that somehow, someone made me laugh, cry and share all my negatives.

She knew me too well. That's why it's hard to regain my original me...not someone I pretended for the past year.

something new.

i was shocked by the news i heard and wasn't really on my senses while taking a jeep going home. i was like betrayed by someone i trusted. again, trust is very common to me. i didn't care about the heat of the sun that made me perspire underneath. i just want to go home.

kanina, i was starving, after the walang kamatayang take out chicken meal from Jollibee on my first break, i was thinking of eating again.. then finding some time to realize that I need to lose weight, but then again, I was on the start line of depression, I wasn't feeling any hunger at all.

I rode a tricycle thinking about the endless years of working with different companies around, spending months, years and my life with people addicted to taking calls and making sure that numbers are achieved. It stopped when someone said, "Para po sa tabi." Bumaba na rin ako.

I went inside Ministop and headed towards one direction. I need to drink. I grabbed a bottle of Red Horse, still thinking how many bottles should I get. I can drink 5 bottles of 500ml amber colored-bottled drink yet, wala akong yelo sa bahay, so I just grabbed one and bought a pack of cigarettes. NO LUNCH.

I went inside my crib. It's the same old dirty place with my jackets and laptop bags on my blue couch, dirty laundry on the table and my resting haven. I opened my laptop as I lit one cigarette and puffed until I lit another cigs til I got 3 sticks at a time. I opened my favorite drink.

Then I saw honey went online. I couldn't talk anything about what had happened but then again I realized, whatever happens, she will be at my side all the time. Then my undeniably teary eyes just dropped. It contained depression, anger and emotions I couldn't control.

She was just there -- listening to my drama and didn't blame me at all. Then we realized we need to laugh. She made me smile. :)

I rallied by finishing off my beer and realized I got tired of crying, my chinky eyes went big this time.

And just when I thought that depression can kill me, honey gave me a better remedy that for the first time, we did it together. How? I don't really know. I will not give details of the kinky days (recorded: JANUARY 4-5, 2010) and like with other people say, start the new year with a bang! ;) o yeah baby, with a bang ;)).

It was a nice remedy than any medicine can give. I think Med will just make my day all the time :)

2010 resolution

I got a bad news from my boss that I befriended for months that maybe, maybe a reason on how to start my new year. I still had a day to think it over by not coming into work last night and spent it over at my crib. Have I thought of anything yet? uhhh. I am still hopeful. So I guess by getting a list of what to do and what needs to be done must be a start.

looking back

...and i didn't blog a lot last year. and was looking forward to blog more this year.

I just want to look back if something happened or something I missed last 2009 and make sure to fill it in this year.

1. I have 2 employers that I worked and been working. WEST and HSBC. had a normal working hours but not earning night differential ;) result: resigned.

2. travelled 3 times locally on the same province and 3 times abroad. what happened when you see part of the Bicolandia when you didn't see Mayon Volcano??? Geez!!!

3. I got an internet connection at my crib(yet, I didn't blog pa rin) which connects me to ex's and my future NEO :))

4. Well I found NEO this time. At the beginning of the year, I met her, however, for some reason, we broke up. --- got a lot of dates and flings and experiences that made me, I think... something nonesense. When I thought I met the right NEO, I tried to adjust...with the age differences, I think I am too smart to handle. At the last part of the year, I think I found NEO --- someone I found at the beginning of the year and ended up with her for the rest of my life. way too cool ;)

5. I found myself withdrawing from bank account to bank account and checking to see if I gained or not. RESULT: NOT. stocks went down and been crazy for months and at the end of the year, I was told that 500k is not something reachable at this time.

6. still forgetful. do I need to be reminded? I don't know. But some things I didnt remember anymore or I was just trying to forget na talaga.

7. was hospitalized by overreacting nurses at HSBC. I could work but they didnt allow me. went to Asian Hospital with Ces accompanying me. then got 2 approved rest days by the doctor and the fuckin HSBC gave me a memo when I got back to work. So humane huh!

8. 3 pay periods before the end of the year, I was getting an enormous tax deductions. I don't know how the suckers work but I need a better explanation for this. I think I need an attorney to fix it.

9. I have celebrated all saint's day with my family and christmas eve. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to join them this new year's eve. :(

10. I don't think I was productive last year. But I guess I need to think over and revise something for the next year...

Nagbulungan ang mga tao sa paligid nang dumaan ang pamilyar na babae. Akala mong may sakit na halos lumuwang ang daan na ang tanging naglalakad na lamang ay ang babaeng nakasuot ng hapit na kulay pulang damit. Ang sarap panoorin, lalo na at makikita mong napakababa na ng tingin ng lahat, pero mukang proud na proud pa rin sya sa sarili.

Sabi ni mommy, lumayo daw ako sa mga malalandi kong classmates. Dapat daw, puro libro lang ang dapat kong atupagin at hindi yung pakikipagusap sa mga lalaking wala daw ibang gagawin kundi buntisin ako. Inatupag ko naman ang pag-aaral, at tinanim sa utak ko na nakakadiri yung mga taong hindi kayang mabuhay ng walang lalaki sa mundo.

Tumuntong ako ng college at sumali sa fraternity. Hirap o sarap ba? hmmm, hindi ko na naranasan iyon dahil founder ang boyfriend ko sa chapter ng eskwelahang pinasukan ko. Pero nakita ko kung paano gamitin ang mga neophytes ng mga masters nila tuwing hazing. Hindi ko alam kung baboy nga ba o hindi ang nasa harapan ko. Ang alam ko lang, mukang nasasarapan ang mga babaeng ginagamit ng kung sino man habang nakapiring ang mata nila.

Nagsimulang mabarkada ako sa mga lalaki, hanggang sa trip na lang namin magpakalasing araw araw pagkatapos ng klase. May sumama sa aming lalaki na tumapat sa akin at nakikipagflirt. Sa loob loob ko, paano ginagawa ng mga babae ang makakuha ng lalaki sa pamamagitan ng tingin? Bahala na, naisip ko. Kung kayang gawin ng mga pokpok ang ganitong bagay, tingin ko hindi ko kakayanin.

Nagsimula akong magkaroon ng mga flings kada inuman. Pero nasa tamang wisyo pa ako para hindi makipagsex kahit kanino. Ako lang ang gagawa. Bawal akong galawin. Dati-rati'y gumagawa pa ako ng listahan ng mga nakafling ko na umabot na yata ng mahigit tatlumpu.

Hindi naman lahat ng bagay nageenjoy ako. Tinigilan ko rin at nagsimulang magseryoso sa relasyon. Nagkaroon ako ng 3 matitinong boyfriend, at ang huli, naging asawa ko pa. Naisip ko, yung mga pokpok pala pwedeng magsawang magbigay aliw at magsawa na lang sa bandang huli. Marami pa namang magbibigay ng dahilan para maging matino sila.

Masarap maranasan na kahit minsan sa buhay ko, naging gaya rin nila ako. Pero parang drugs lang yan e. Pag nahook ka, maaadik ka na. Pero nasa iyo pa rin ang kontrol sa lahat. Kalimutan yung masarap na past time lang at maging successful sa mga bagay na hindi mo aakalaing sa iyo mapupunta.

Napatanga ako habang tinitignan ko ang oras. Kagigising ko lang katabi babae ko (this time, ayaw ko na ng lalaki). Ginising ko sya sa pamamagitan ng halik. Masakit daw ang lalamunan nya. Naawa naman ako at pinagmumog sya ng asin para kahit paano'y gumaling. Sumeryoso ang mukha nya, sabay tanong sa akin, kelan daw ako huling nakipag sex sa lalaki.

Bumalik lahat ng alaala ko. Kailan nga ba? Kahapon, noong isang araw, noong isang linggo? Sino ba ang huling lalaking gumamit sa akin? Nagpagamit ba ako? Ahhh, biglang nagiba ang dating ako at bumalik sa dating maituturing na isang puta sa tingin ng mga boring na estudyante. Ako ngayon, nasa isang iginagalang na posisyon, tanungin kung kailan ang huling beses akong nakipaglandian sa kama, habang sumasakit ang lalamunan nya, biglang nahilo sa mga nagfflashback sa utak ko.

Nasarapan ba sya? Sabi nya oo daw e. Sa babae o lalaki man, kapag bumaba ka sa partner mo, gagawin mo yun hindi dahil kailangan, kung hindi dahil gusto mong gawin. Feeling ko ilang libong mikrobyo meron ako na parang isang puta na pinandidirihan ng lahat. Nakikita ko tuloy ang sarili ko sa babaeng kekendeng kendeng sa kalye na kanina ko pa tinitignan.

Ahhh, hindi lahat ng pokpok puta, at hindi lahat ng puta, pokpok. Alas kwatro pa lang! Bakit ba ang bilis ng bus samantalang sa panaginip ko parang mabagal lahat ng pangyayari. Dagli akong bumangon. Mahirap na salubungin ang moody kong girlfriend. Baka sumakay ng bus pabalik ng Maynila.

Nagpalit na ako ng damit at dali daling bumaba, hindi na nagalala kung mabaho ba ang aking hininga o hindi. Bahala na. Hinarurot ko na ang kakarag-karag kong pulang kotse.

Tumaba kaya ang honey ko?...Lumaki na kaya ang singkit nyang mata?..O mukha na kaya syang haggard at maturn off agad ako?..Tumatakbo ang utak ko habang pinatulin ko pa ang takbo ng matulin kong bulok na oto.

Napansin ko ang patawid na kuting sa gitna ng daan. Waaa! Kailangan ko bang huminto o sagasaan na lang ang pusa imbes na ako ang madisgrasya. Bahala na. Iginitna ko ang kotse ko habang tahimik na nagdadasal ng “May the cat rest in peace..”

Nalagpasan ko. Nakiramdam kung may makikita ako sa rear view mirror ko kung may magmumultong pusa at kalmutin ako sa likod. Wala. Tumingin ako sa tabi ng aking sasakyan, wala akong marinig na ngiyaw ngunit praning ako baka bigla na lang may ngumiyaw. Taena! Gutom lang yan. Bigla kong naisip na bumili ng siopao pagsundo sa girlfriend ko.

Tinakbo ko ang terminal dahil ilang minuto na lang at mainit na ang ulo ni honey. Narating ko ang terminal ng walang pang limang minuto.

Wala si honey. Pero parang lahat na yata ng nakita ko sa naman. paligid, kung hindi kulay orange ang mata, ay gray na mga bulto ng pusa. Karma na ata ito. Hindi ko alam kung pwede na ba akong kasuhan na mamamatay-pusa.

Nakita ko ang higanteng girlfriend ko at inaya ng umuwi. Pusanggala naman o! Hindi ko na maalalang halikan ang girlfriend ko dahil sa dyaskeng kuting na iyon. Minsan talaga, may mga maliit na bagay kang ginawang mali pero maaalala mong pilit.

Pero maaari namang kalimutan. Choice lang yan, ika nga. Gaya ng pagwaglit sa isip ko ng babaeng pilit na umaagaw ng atensyon ko kahit may katabi akong ibang tao ngayon habang nagmamaneho. Parang si Dory na may short term memory loss, pwedeng kalimutan pero pilit na bumabalik.

O siguro, pwede rin namang pagbigyan ng hindi nakakasakit ng iba. Alalahanin ulit gaya ng kuting na iyon, sumagasa ulit ng mas malaking pusa para makalimutan ang isang kuting. Ayan. At least hindi na ako praning na may magmultong pusa, o ang siopao na kinakain ko ay kuting…pero mag-abang pa ng mas maraming pusang sasagasaan.

whenever i meet someone online, and got my attention over a conversation, it doesn't really end up by a date. date means when they make pilit and they're on the area where i am =). 100% of them is better on cam, but not in person ;). you can see how stupid your date is unlike the one you have talked on the internet. you will doubt, "Sya ba talaga ang kausap ko???"

whether you like them or not, they are still different from who we are. it makes me turn off when someone flashes her barefoot (from covered socks) and let me spell how awful her foot odor is, or if when her car is bulok but runs faster than a new ivtec. still, you find yourself into a troublesome moment wherein you were attracted with trash rather than the good sides of the person.

potential girlfriends

these are people who likes to teach diskarte 101 in the class. whether it's baduy or not, or girls who is trying hard to be a guy, like putting pomade on their hair (pomade!!!!), or having their grown armpit hair flashing on your face, or whether they seem talking a lot of sense but they're really stupid, it's how they really catch your attention and prospect them to be the next girlfriend.

whew... ako ba yan?? that's prolly the way i think of gauging how player i was...not until i met someone i barely know, a person who is trying to change me -- which challenges me the most.

Mabagal kong pinaaandar ang pulang kotse papasok sa subdivision kung saan ako nagrerent ng isang maliit na kwarto. Malayo pa lang ay nakikita ko na ang mga batang nakatira sa squatter’s area na naglalaro sa mamaya’y daraanan ko.

Piko ang laro. Nangingiti ako habang nakatingin sa batang itinapon ang pato at tumama sa guhit ng bahay. Nakita kong nayamot ang kanyang madungis na mukha habang gumigilid na. Talo na sya.

E kasi naman, ang pato nya ay isang binasag na paso. Hindi ito katulad ng dati kong pato na balat ng saging na saba o latundan na pinilit kong pitpitin ng bato. Kailangan kasing manipis at mabigat ang pato para kapag binato ay papasok sya sa loob ng iginuhit ng chalk na bahay.

Tumira ang isang medyo may katangkarang batang babae. Pasok. Sinimulan na nyang itaas ang kaliwang paa at humakbang papasok sa bahay.

Wow. Ganon na ba ako katanda? Sa Valenzuela, halos wala na akong nakikitang bata sa daan. Mangyayari pa ba iyon na kahit bilog ang buwan ay makikita mong nagliligawan ang mga dati’y baby pa lamang na anak ng kalaro ko. Nandoon din ang mga kotse at jeep na hindi na magkasya sa garahe ng kapitbahay ko at maliit na lugar na lang ang natitira sa kalye.

Sayang ang liwanag ng buwan. Kung ang maririnig mo lang ang ungol na nanggagaling sa umuugang jeep na hindi mo alam kung may naglalaro rin ng kung hindi piko ay dama. Kung ang makikita mo lang ay ang magbabalot na imbes na humiyaw ng “Balooooooot” ay nakatambay lang sa kanto at nakikipag-inuman sa grupo ng mga nagcho-chongke.

Nanalo ang batang tumatawid sa bahay na piko. Minsan nakakainggit, sana bata pa rin ako na nakakapaglaro ng taguan, ng goma, ng tex , ng pog, ng Chinese garter o ng luksong tinik para kahit madapa ako, pwede kong tawagin ang yaya ko, o nanay ko o mga kalaro ko. Iba na ngayon, minsan, kailangan ko saklolohan ang sarili ko kapag nadapa ako.

Iba na rin ang laro ko ngayon. Nakikipaglaro rin ako sa iba. Dati puro lalaki kalaro ko ngayon ay babae na. Bastos at masarap na laro. May taguan pero walang goma, walang tex , walang pog at ibang Chinese garter na ang alam ko at kabisado ko.

Pero ang piko na nilaro ko dati, nawasak, natalo ako. Nasira ang bahay na dati’y alam kong dapat laging buo. Ngunit gaya nga ng nasabi ko na, hindi na ako humingi ng tulong sa yaya ko. Laro ko ito. Ako lang at walang ibang pwedeng magbigay ng solusyon.

Iginarahe ko ang sasakyan at kinuha ko ang mga dala-dalahan ko. Lintek! Kahit kalian lampa ako, natisod ako sa isang putol na tiles. Hmmm. Pinakamagandang pato ko sa piko na bubuuin ko pa lang.

Tinanggal ko ang aking salamin na nanlalabo na sa kakatingin sa monitor screen sa aking harapan. Halos apat na oras na akong nakaupo sa kulay itim na swivel chair sa ilalim ng nagyeyelong aircon. Ni hindi ko magawang tumayo para magpunta sa banyo para umihi o pumunta sa pantry para uminom ng tubig. Kailangang matapos ko ang trabaho ko.

Sinipat ko ang lens ng salamin ko, malabo na nga. Inabot ko sa bag ang Giordanong lalagyan nito at kinuha ang makapagpapalinaw sa salamin ko. Wala – pagod lang talaga ako.

Bumukas ang pinto ng aking kwarto – inaasahan ko dahil alas tres na ng hapon, hudyat ng pagsunog ng baga sa isang call center na ito sa gitna ng Pasong Tamo. Napailing na lang ako. Gaano na kaya kaitim ang baga ko hindi lamang sa usok na nalalanghap ko mula sa smoke belcher na jeepney o sa lintek na bus na mabilis na dumadaan sa highway ng Baclaran.

Habang ang karamihan ay bumaba sa 8th floor lung center para magsunog ng baga, bumaba ako sa ground floor at dumiretso sa MInistop. Isa ako sa mga taong parasite pagdating sa yosi. Ayaw kong kunsintihin ang bisyo ko. Naks. Aayaw pa e humihingi naman. Dyahe na rin minsan tuwing pinaparinggan ako ni Niño na hingi ng hingi ng Marlboro Lights, kung kaya’t sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, heto ako at bumaba sa MiniStop.

Habang hinihintay kong matapos magbayad at suklian ang taong nasa harapan ko, naramdaman ko na ang pagkulo ng bestfriend ko. Gutom na ako, sabi ng utak at tiyan kong nagaalburoto habang nakatingin sa jumbo siopao sa likod ng cashier.

Lintek! Magyoyosi ba ako o kakain ng siopao? Iniisip ko pa rin hanggang sa napalingon ako sa bagong Cosmopolitan issue na ang cover ay si Marian Rivera.

“Miss, miss….” Ang istorbong cashier naiinip na sa akin. Pumapalatak na rin ang nakapila sa likuran ko. Ahhh! Wala akong pakielam sa inyo! Nasa unahan ako ng pila and customer’s always right! I’m the king of the world!!!

“Isang special siopao na bola bola, yung may iced tea please.”

Sa wakas, nakalimutan ko ang yosi dahil sa isang siopao na may dilaw na tanda sa ibabaw. Witwiw. Siopao lang ang tatapos sa usok na naaamoy ko na mula sa 8th floor ay naamoy ko hanggang sa lobby. Siopao na nakakapagpalinaw ng paningin ko na kahit wala akong salamin ay naaninag ko kahit natatakpan pa sya ng matabang cashier. Ang siopao na nagbigay ng panibagong sigla para magtrabaho ulit.

Ang siopao na naging dahilan para bumuntot sa kadulu-duluhan ng linya pabalik sa harap ng cashier.

Weirdest All Saint's Day

Travelling back to from Bangga-an falls to the town proper was less tiring and fun. Some of the guyz, and girls chose to ride the jeep on its top. We were still in Sagada, so I guess, we will just define what enjoyment means.

While we were on the jeep, we saw a huge fire from afar. We teased each other that George Guesthouse was burning. I never thought that we will just experience a different way to celebrate All Saint's Day with the Sagadans.

As we stopped near the church, we were so tired to see another pile of stairs that we need to take. Walang katapusang stairs, hindi ka "in" sa Sagada kung walang hagdanan.

As Kuya Andrew described it, when you're there, you're like experiencing hell in Earth, but still, you're alive.

It was an awesome experience to see people walking towards the same direction -- somewhere in the mountains were you can see hell. They said it's called Calvary Hill-at night you call it, Calvary Hell.

People compiled and circled around chunks of wood burning and have a little, not so little but made the best bonfire beside the nitso and it was soo weird seeing this "siga" their making, it makes your lungs hurt just by seeing them.

In Manila, we have candles, but in Sagada, it was my first ever All Saint's Day to celebrate away from my family, it was my weirdest All Saint's Day I have experienced, and this will be the most lit cemetery I've seen in my life.

Bangga-an Rice Terraces and Bomod-Ok Falls

We were amazed by the beauty of the place surrounded by too many rice terraces, so we took pictures from afar and awed how natives did it in the first place. The road were ziggy again as we headed towards the where-is Bangga-an Rice Terraces.

And we stopped to a bus station-like covered stop over where we can have a nice view of the place. Kuya Andrew gave us a brief description of the place with these statements:

“Welcome to Bangga-an Rice Terraces. Pupuntahan natin ang Big falls, Bomod-Ok Falls . Maitanung ko lang, lahat ba dito ay physically fit?”

Upon hearing these words, I was kinda hesitant if I have to raise my hands and suggest not to go anymore. But then again, go pa rin ako. Then hearing the next statements from our guide made me refused again.

“Mula dito, andun ang falls (pointing to the farthest that my eyes could reach) at dadaan tayo sa mga rice terraces na ito para makarating dun” Napalunok na lang ako. And we started the trek.

At first we were all having fun taking pictures and such until my legs hurt a lil bit, I started to feel the pain already. Whoo, I realized we still had a long way to go upon seeing the huge rice fields in front of me. First time I had experience in my life walking in a man-made terraces!

We passed a village and my heavy breathing started already. I started feeling an asthma attack is about to grow. The village is kinda small and you will wonder how these people stayed too far from many when for an instance, there’s someone to be hospitalized, you have to pass the pilapil before getting to the main street! Geez, soo amazing!

..And we started to walk again. We passed this very steep dirt and I slipped. I was really afraid cuz the next thing in front of me is bangin. OMG, I don’t wanna die. Not yet!. Bawal ang pahinga so even though my feet really hurts and my muscles started to snap.

We heard water flowing nearby and thought that we were near the falls. No! we were wrong! Oh boy, a long walk again.. And finally, tired, exhausted and find another word in the dictionary to describe how TIRED we were, we have reached a beautiful spot – the falls.

I haven’t seen such a beauty in my life. We were awed by God’s creature hidden by the mountains. You see, we were walking 3 kilometers and any signs of the falls weren’t obvious while we were hiking. It was just there. I was sitting on the rocks feeling the cold moist of the place. Damn, it was all soo good. My guests were all enjoying the water. Tita’s were having their foot massage by the native kid who knew everything about acupressure, and me, I was just feeling everything.

After 30 minutes, we started walking again. Another 3 kilometers of stress and my legs were really hurting. My classmate Noreen (classmate sa pagod), were hiking on my back while the rest were heading up. I wanna see the bus station. But we were really far from there. Until we reached the village, woohooooooooo. Onti na lang.

I almost cried to see we almost made it. As I have seen the bus station, we rested many times and though my ankle wasn’t helping me at all, I just need to follow what others were doing. Walk forever.. Cuz I won’t walk that far ANYMORE.

Sagada Scene

The last time I didn't join my family on All Saint’s day was when I got pregnant. I had a major reason since they said it’s bawal daw. And this year, I didn’t join my family again. Why? Destination: Sagada.

I posted a Sagada tour on my travel page for October 17-20 but Ira emailed me and wanted to have a schedule for October 31-November 3. OMG! This is business, how can I say No? I arranged the tour.

October 31

After persuading a 1 day leave at work, well I was still on training as a PAS at that time so I wasn't allowed to take any absences, finally he said YES. But it will be considered an absent. That’s fine, as long as I can take a day leave from the office.

I woke up early as usual, 3pm, packed my things and got ready to go. I brought 2 green bags full of clothes and travel from Sucat all the way to Cubao. It was traffic since the most were going to the bus stations for the holiday break. I was kinda scared cuz I haven’t paid yet, baka maubusan kami ng ticket, although I have made my reservations already.

As early as 6pm, I was surprised arriving soo early seeing only 2 people on the Cable Bus Station aside from the drivers and a so-called cashier. I went straight to Jollibee to have dinner and kill time as well.

7:30pm – went to the station to make payment.

8:00pm – met Ira’s group. All of them were related except for the 2 guys which are Ira’s officemates

8:30pm – rode the bus, expecting that we will leave the station on time, however, we left the station at 9:03pm. My seatmate was a native and I asked too much questions re Sagada. Well, he was too informative but soon, transferred to the other bus for some reason.

Waking up as early as 5:30am at the bus is better when you get a good view. We were at Banaue at that time and I was kinda hesitant which from the terraces that I saw is the infamous Banaue Rice Terraces.

9:30am – arrived in Bontoc. Bontoc is like a city next to Sagada. Streets were modernized and there were hotels all over the place.

10:00am – as we waited for the other Cable Bus because two of the boxes were mistakenly transferred to the other bus. We rode a jeep, which didn’t look like a jeep bound to Sagada.

11:00am – arrived in Sagada. The jeep took us straight to George Guest House. It was Saturday and a market day in Sagada and we were soo crazy seeing some people wearing their bahags. (unfortunately since we had limited time, I wasnt able to take pics of them :()

we stayed at the penthouse which is kinda roomy and fit everyone. THe two straight boys stayed at the 3rd floor.

As I have talked to my contact persons in Sagada, I finally met my guide, Kuya Andrew. We had our lunch buffet which was prepared by Bana’s coffee and filled our starving stomachs with great food.

We rested for a while cuz at 1:30pm, we will start our adventure.

Heaven and Eggs

Last week, we had our dinner at Heaven and Eggs in Trinoma. The restaurant stored its classic looks, a purple with a yolk in the middle unlike the one in Glorrieta which changes its color to a formal black and H&E logo.

While we were checking on the menu outside the restaurant, a crew was just there to introduce some of their specialty with “Dito na lang kayo mam, may free iced tea po kami!” statement. So we went in.

The store has its New York streets and building style with cab-looking lines of seats to accommodate any hungry pangs.

My two sisters orders the grilled pepper pork chop, which they said delicious. Compared to the H&E branch in Glorietta, they don’t offer it there.

My mom ordered their t-bone steak with which she exchanged it with my sister’s food. “Matigas!” my mom exclaimed. We proved it too. Theirs is not the usual steak that melts in your mouth .

I ordered salt and pepper pork steak which I shared with Amber. I liked it and had a repeat at their Glorietta branch when I craved after 2 days. Unfortunately, I shared my food with Amber and since it’s spicy, my daughter doesn’t like it.

and oh, we have this pancakes in exchange of their mashed potato. My pinoexchange friends commented that it looks like a crab. LOL

Overall, I gave 6 out of 10 rating with heaven and eggs. The ambience is good. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth the price since you’ll definitely exit the restaurant with a full stomach. Crew is friendly, however, they almost forget their advertisement regarding free iced tea :)

Holloween costume party

It will be my first time to dress up for holloween in the office. In the past, I didn’t even care whether I dress up or not, I just showed up at work and that’s it. I just didn’t get it, IM NOT INTO COSTUME.

There were holloween parties held in the office but then again, I don’t give a damn. But since I joined the company anew, I need to follow what they asked me to.

Almost all holloween events have their themes, most of the time, the scariest, the winner. But this time, just like what other themes bars in the metro, anime costume is in.

We all came up to a Bleach anime’ costume, which I don’t have a darn idea how it looks like. It’s easy to turn Japanese but following a theme is hard.

I thought I wouldn’t be able to join the costume party since I had to take my leave on the 31st for Sagada. Unfortunately, the party was moved on the 30th and damn, I’m in the office. Right now I am wearing a blue jogging pants and a big black jacket with blue belt. I had my hair braided in two and since I don’t need to fix my eyes, I look like a Japanese bento :P.

Whew… With all the Japanese papers, lanterns and walls all over, first time is always fun! :D

Moment of misery

Here’s a story worth to share (ask me if this is real…).

Sometimes I felt that the world seems bitter on me. I was once married and had a very beautiful daughter as a result of a 5-year relationship. I was in love with the man and had been faithful to him since day 1. He is too friendly that he committed himself to occasions, mostly ended him up going home drunk and wasted. As a result, a brand new husband was introduced to me.

Yes, I was a battered wife. I experienced being kicked to wake me up when he arrived home, all the punches were battled over my body. I didn't know how to fight. He is smaller than me and still, I considered myself afraid of being killed. I was upset but still, I continued to love him despite everything.

Then, I spoke with someone over a chat and served as a shock absorber. She’s a she, A lesbian with whom I shared my stories and miseries, and later on, started to fall for her. My husband new all about her and started a more different relationship after. More batteries until the date of our anniversary when I excitedly went home just to see the house so dirty and a rotten food at the rice cooker. I felt so sad that I cried and called my new lesbian friend and told her about what had happened. My husband and I separated since he almost killed me at our house.

I then started a relationship with that lesbian friend. Although it was a long distance relationship, we continued the relationship through chat, webcam and cellphone calls everyday. She seemed to have a full control over me, got all my email passwords and everything that I do on my computer needed to be viewed by a computer sharing system. I couldn’t even hang out with my friends and go gimmicks because she wouldn’t allow me. I needed to be alone..with her.

I started to become rebellious because I don’t want to be controlled by anyone so I went on gimmicks without telling her, and chat with my friends and anyone and felt I was already falling out of love. Until I broke up with her since she didn’t want to let go of me (feeling obsessed).

I have met this new lesbian chat mate, which was similar and at the same time, different with my personality. She is a lawyer. We acted alike, but we have 2 different worlds. I love to party and any perky stuffs and all she wants is coffee and hang out at coffee shops and stay boring all the time. We both have a girlfriend the first time we have met. Again, we fell in love with each other, but since I had a problem with my previous relationship, I chose her and left the other one.

My lawyer girlfriend didn’t leave her girlfriend though and lived with her while we were having a relationship. That was just fine because we started with that setup already. The relationship ended for only 5 months since no lawyers can be trusted and they are really born in hell. Totally liars and will definitely turned the world against you.

I then met this new lesbian friend who is based in Cebu and dealt with her to start a relationship. I wasn’t serious then with her because of what had happened to the past two same sex relationships that I had. She is the kindest, the very patient one that I have met all my life. Until we’ve met when I went there last year, I felt in love with her, and started to become serious to her.

Abusing her kindness, I always give her a cold shoulder and had a fight with her most of the time, threatening a break up. She persuaded, begged and asked me to stay with her. And I complied. I set to compromise but she never did. And lately, I realized I wanna be with her since we had the relationship for a year already and I don’t wanna have a long distance relationship forever. I asked her to come to Manila but like the answers she gave me previously, she’s afraid.

I was upset since she never tried, I don’t know really if she still wants to live with me or just want to have a so-called relationship just to say she has a girlfriend or what. This time, I seriously demanded a break up. Now, she gave me a cold shoulder. I was crying inside while I am not pretty sure if she is celebrating with her friends and happy or what not. I really don’t know what to say.

I am now single, detached to anyone and made myself busy. I don’t want to have any relationship as of the moment since I don’t want to experience the same miseries that I had in the past.

New Travel Company

Well, I know that the blog is not always updated, since there are lotsa travelling things that I need to finish first, but alright, I’ll start blogging again…

2008 is a year of local travel for me, travelling from places to places seemed never ending. And I started the idea of having a travel agency which is actually running now. I never thought it will work that way. It is not easy, but then again, a lot of hard work, presence of mind and quality (again) must be implemented on every aspects of it.

I started a new blog, with which I am still to configure and learn the how-to’s which caters all the travelling needs. I started with the Sagada Tour. I had a partner then, but never participated on everything. Well, that’s life. He didn’t even realize how it will change both of our lives in the future ;)

Moving on, I continued what I started, and with hard work and a lot of researches, I signed up 10 people to start my Sagada Tour

..yeah, this includes sacrifices. I won’t be in Manila for All Saint’s Day cuz I’ll be up north. Whew, I can’t wait.

A Challenge to Coffee Addicts

Last week, when I called home, I was informed by my mom that a package came in for me.. I was thinking, who will send me a package?

I went home last Saturday only thinking about sleeping when I saw a package waiting for me.. hmmm, I wonder what it was.

It's a planner. Hmmm, and enclosed with it is a letter regarding challenging Starbucks planner.
Alright. I got the scene. I've been a fan of Starbucks since then and collected 3 of their yearly planners. It will get you addicted anyhow since you have to buy coffee in exchange of a little stickers that you need to complete in a booklet to get the planner for free.

Imagine drinking a Starbucks coffee which costs P95 the cheapest..yeah cafe latte. But then again, since on the booklet, it requires everyone to buy their signature coffee, so whether you like it or not, you'll sip a P150 worth of frappe or iced drinks. It will just simply sum up to more than P3,000 for your planner.

What's the difference of having a Starbucks planner than a planner that you can get in National Bookstore?
1. It's Starbucks! Come on, you don't want to be left behind of the "in" thing.
2. It is leather. O yeah, leather.
3. It is much expensive than any other planner around.

After getting the latest 2008 edition of the Starbucks planner, my friend just asked me to buy a the same planner at P1,500. That's half the price of the planner you get at Starbucks minus the coffee. Well, I just don't want to make all my nerves to break because of the coffee that I'm drinking so I bought 5 planners and sold it to anyone at a cheaper price. Starbucks stole a lot of money from me where I could get the same for just half the price of it.

What's new!!!
November is approaching and again, Starbucks Coffee will be jampacked again, making all the booklets stamped by a lil stickers to get the 2009 edition of their planner.. Whew, learning my lesson, I'll just wait for my friend to give me a nudge regarding a new Starbucks planner for half the price.

What else is new -- my new planner.
October is about to end but I already got a new planner, no no, not from Starbucks, but from another coffee shop which I havent visited yet. This time, I got a planner for free. and in front of it, it says it will simply change my life. Alright.

Since I have been reading forums about Boracay, I always seen a familiar indian restaurant name in Bora, it's called True Food. So we have searched for it and found it before the 'D mall.

Since it's too far from Manila, I only have Dennis to join my mega travel in Boracay. We booked our tickets waay before our Baguio trip and since may ticket na, wala ng atrasan :)

So just a week after our Baguio trip, here we go again, travelling, this time by plane, going to Kalibo, Aklan.

I arrived earlier at the airport and since I'll be coming from Makati, I decided to take a jeepney ride from makati through buendia and just ride a cab there for a cheap fare :)

Dennis arrived right after me and again, we were both excited, just like our Cebu trip.

We arrived at around 10am in Kalibo and since we didnt plan at all on this Boracay trip, we took a van that were waiting just outside the airport. You won't miss it cuz there were plenty of vans and buses that will bring you along the port.

It was just a short 10 minutes ferry ride from Caticlan port to Boracay Island, which you can see from afar. It wasn't like Puerto Galera that you arrive on the same area where you're gone swimming. You have to ride a tricycle going to the resort. As we know, Boracay has 3 stations: 1, 2 and 3.

At first, I was a bit disappointed cuz all I know about Bora is its beach. But where the hell is the beach?! Wala akong makita but the modernized streets in the middle of an island.

When the tricycle stopped, our guide started walking through some resorts which is kinda like a subdivision until we reached the end line, and from there, I gasped and say my "Ohhh my goodness!!" and had my foot stepped brought me to Boracay for the first time.

I was mesmerized by just looking at the beach while we're on our way to the resort. I got the resort's contact number through Pinoyexchange.

Since we were planning to stay there for a cheaper rate, I contacted Ate Jean for the cheapest rate that we can get for a room per day. Well, good thang we have a good contact, we got the room for P1,000 per night!

We stayed in Sanderswhite, as we requested Ms. Jean (if you want the number, msg me :P) to give us a non-airconditioned room with 2 beds inside. Yun lang. But the room gave us more than what we really need.

What's good inside is the sawali walls and ceiling which makes the room cold even if we're just sharing an electric fan. The restroom has a shower too but don't expect a hot one.

From the market and Grotto, we asked Manong driver to bring us to Victory Liner to buy tickets. Morning shift people will leave Baguio 5 hours earlier than the evening shifters but just to be sure that we will get tickets, we wanna get it earlier too.

Grabe! super haba ng pila!! and we might get stuck if we choose to ride Victory Liner since they don't sell tickets for the time we were scheduled to leave Baguio.

We were about to leave but I've seen familiar face on the line. Tsk!

Since I have been closed to IT people at Tektite, I kissed him on the cheeks. I didn't notice that he was with his girlfriend pala. And the girl was looking at me intensely, I never thought she's Monay's girlfriend. Aba! ano namang malay ko!!!

We left Victory Liner and we decided to book for another bus line. Then our stupid driver announced that he couldnt pick us up at 2am since his service daw was done starting at 5pm. TSK!!!

I told him, we didnt specify time and he should have drop us on time that we will leave Baguio and that will be at 2am. He said too much reasons that I couldnt bear at all. I started raising my voice.

Junel noticed that I was at peak of my behavior and onti na lang, I'll curse that bitchy driver. Junel and others talked to the driver but the driver still stood with what he said to me.

My day was ruined from then on and we decided to just get an FX to pick us up and leave Baguio at the same time morning shift left.

It's always been famous for anyone who goes to Baguio to go, not in some known places, but to the market-- yeah...veggies and ukay-ukay.

So just right after that sumptous lunch at the other side of Baguio, we cross the street and found ourselves busy checking the market.

According to Dennis, there are ukay-ukay's that are expensive. After all, we're in Baguio, we have to look for some cheap but quality stuffs there. I've seen many people wearing furry jackets and I wanna buy one.

From the restaurant/carinderia haven that we had lunch on, we passed the busy street of Baguio and found ourselves walking in an airconditioned street of ukay-ukay.

I'm like, "hey! dami nitong ganito sa Manila a" but I haven't been to one in Manila. Prolly, my first ukay-ukay experience was in Baguio. And I was kinda like... tsk. This place is real! Puro may tatak lahat! I bought one blouse and a sun dress. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the jacket I've been looking for :(

Just at the souvenir area, I almost have my sack full. Dami ko na nabili, when Dennis informed us that we will buy some tamtaco's and ube jam and strawberrys and... arrgh! can't wait!

And we walked towards the van na medyo malayong malayo pa, so there were kids who offered their help just for 20 pesos to carry all our sacks. Parang lugi, but then again, you won't imagine those lil fellows can carry a 10 kilo-sack each on their hands.

I was soo tired then but they are still planning to go to the Grotto. I told 'em I couldn't do it, so they can leave me at the van. Jumpy joined me then. (read ______)

Of course Baguio isn't complete if we don't share horror stories. LOL. Wala kaming experience on horror stories at the place that we stayed but we just saw this famous house along the street. I guess everyone who have been gone to Baguio is familiar with this white house.

Grabe, though that was the only thing that happened in Baguio (the sole happening), we enjoyed every moment even though we're tired walking around. We starved of course, and Dennis was thinking of eating sumthing unusual and cheap.

We walked along the I-forgot-the-road-name street near the ukay ukay place in Baguio and found this famed carinderia na uber-puno and jampacked.

I took care of ordering food since they went to they nearby ukay-ukay. I was really starving at that time and amazed looking at the menu. I got two words to say..SOO CHEAP!

The carinderia has two levels, the ground floor is jampacked so we checked at the 2nd level. Damn, you wont imagine a carinderia that I think a reservation is needed to get a table. Puno rin sa taas. So, it's like a regular restaurant that you have to sit and wait first.

So we seated at a sirang bangkito outside the restaurant and waited to be called. After 30minutes we were called. Coolness, our long wait lasted and we were savored by good food this resto-carinderia haven gave us.

I haven't experienced Panagbenga Festival in my whole life. This is the infamous flower festival that is held yearly in Baguio every February. On some cases, my friends and my sister always talks about it and yeah, I was a bit curious of checking that out.

Since we went on gimick to Nevada and went home at 5 in the morning, we woke up late, and prepared to eat food that we bought. Again, I was the one doing the kitchen work, with different help from some people who knows want to cook and doesn't want to sleep, unlike Eggie and Anya :P

Since we were late, we took breakfast and all, we havent had a chance to see the whole parade. It was a bit hassle to all of us, riding a cab, going to some places and all, since we were a lot. We were really having a hard time looking for a taxi.

When the caretaker visited us at the house, he suggested his friend and his van to be rented at any places we want to go. We agreed to pay him 1,500 for a day.

We arrived at past 3pm in Baguio. We were a bit late compared to what we planned to do, have lunch at SM with the morning shifters. We learned that the guys were waiting for us in SM so when we got off the bus, we head our way to the mall.

It's like we're still inside the bus, we felt the aircon on the street. It's still cold.

...but since there's a lot of people, we wanna eat somewhere far there. We went inside and met up with the morning shifters. We found them in front of Pizza Hut. We were like yelling at each other cuz we missed each other a lot. Haha. Parang di nagkita ng isang taon. LOL.

We contributed P100 each for the groceries. Dennis took charge of shopping for food while Jan joined us and took us to lunch.

We walked in the city and Jan recommended the resto they ate lunch at. I forgot the name, again, please enlighten me, and ordered sisig and sinigang.

We arrived late, past 7 at the place where we stayed. It's a small bungalow type house but with an attic. It was far from central Baguio, hopefully next time we'll stay near SM :), but it was really a good place to stay.

So after Tarlac, the following week was scheduled for Baguio. And why not?? Some of the people haven't been to the place. And it was a perfect timing for everyone cuz there's this one big famous event that we are all attending, Panagbenga!!!

We still worked at night and we planned to travel after our shift. We were all excited and took a lotta pictures even in the office.

There were some that didnt go with us because of some reasons but they were too excited as well with our trip, they just wished us a good trip and hopefully they could join us on the next escapade.

Dennis reserved the tickets at Victory Liner the day before our trip. Mahirap na, baka maubusan kami ng ticket. We planned to get off the office at 7am but since we're waiting some people to finish their side by side monitoring, we were a bit late. Hay, of course, they heard me again screaming like hell.

I was fixin my camera that time and I didn't notice that there's already the stairs going down. Yeah I know, I sucked and fell off the stairs upto the last step but even managed to raise up my arms so my camera won't get into trouble. Naisip ko pa yun, ako naman ang naaksidente. :(

this wasn't big, but my legs were aching. I saw the blood coming, waaaa, I hate it. I wore pants so I wasnt able to see the different parts of my legs that was hurt. Hayzz..

Going back, they were all laughing at me cuz I even manage to think of saving my camera even I was hurt too much. Jumpy helped me out but I haven't seen Anya or Eggie or some of the people that's included on my trip. Mga puta, nawala!!! and they were just laughing at me. :P

We waited for a cab to take us at the bus terminal, but luckily, a van pulled over and asked us if we need a service. Of course!! We agreed to share P30 each for the van. That stupid van though said that he couldnt take us in front of Victory Liner cuz it's too far. So we got off at Aurora Blvd, which was waaaay too far from the terminal, so we walked like crazy and we were all sweating when we reached Victory Liner.

Here's the shit when you were too choosy about achieving something that is contant, redundant and simple..

Here's what happened when your boss is giving you a headache or the other way around..and your boss is trying to make it difficult for you.

So I got pissed off and wanting to move out of the company already. I tried working with you know, same shit around, but really, just people around me made me happy and not thinking about getting a rope tying myself on a truck while it moves. I guess those people inside me who eats pan de sal with different palaman aside just really give me reasons to stay.

Unexpectedly, there were some companies were tryinig to get me(naks, haba ng buhok), hmm, I remembered applying for a job with them looong time ago and they had just responded. Cool!. I got interviewed in Clark, and man, that was way sooooo easy to be a QA Sup. LOL. I was just giving answers of a tired, sleepy and as fresh as a lady who got out of the shower 24 hrs ago.(whew, that's the definition of freshness =)).

I passed the interview, as Mona, the QA manager, who, I've known, has a kindred soul like mine, said so. It's just she wasn't able to determine if I need to undergo another set of interview by someone higher than her.

Another set of interview was conducted and again, I was called by HR for the job offer. Imagine a provincial job with a higher designation as a QA Supervisor, plus 10 grand reloc package, 30 grand basic salary plus allowances, free food, board and lodging for a month????? Oh, no effing, shitting me, man! I want that job right away!
But, just as it arrived, I was transferred to Sucat to be the sole, designated, chosen one for Netspend. For me,, hmm, well, while waiting, I don't wanna resign just yet. I just want to spend my time working while waiting for my job offer to be signed and then I'll go.

Original plan was to spend my time while on training, pass the resignation letter before Product training begins and pass enjoy my terminal leave until I completely spend it then leave for Clark up to CamSur. I'll leave the condo and move to CamSur and be back to Manila to visit Amber every other 2 weeks. That'll be the most convenient plan for me.

So I was attending training then but come on, it's like playing my senses and all, people in Sucat were soooo nice and helpful. Imagine training with the bosses, Account Managers and all those peeps, you can treat them as tol, pare, dude, bro. They were like at your level.

And I'm enjoying..

And I'm having second thoughts...

And my decision, 90% moving to Clark, and 10% staying with the company was turned completely inverted this time. Tsk tsk tsk.

Then just hours later, someone informed me to whom I'll be reporting here in Sucat, and now...it feels like, I wanna move outta here na..

Come on, dead shit, give me the most appropriate decision this time. =(

We actually have half and a day time in Tarlac but we haven't been to any places that much. What we did there was just to drink, some of us were not really enjoying, but we were already there, so we just have to treat ourselves and make it one of the best hang out place, even if it's not.

I was planning to get some sleep when I arrived but just right after I rang the doorbell, my mom told me that we have to go to my cuz'z daughter's 6th birthday party in Greenhills. How can that be sooo.. I just came nearby Greenhills and then the party was just there! Sana lang naghintay na lang ako dun dba?

So I just got a lil nap but never went to sleep(how's that?) and was about to continue my sleep while on the road, but of course, Amber bugged me again ;)

This valentines day is just like the day I celebrated it last year. Alone. Hmm. Well, Kinda.. It's like I'm getting used to it since I've been through it a couple of times already.

As for me, I don't case if you're aware or wherever or what not, as long as you greet me happy Valentines day and that's eat. I forgot if I eat sumthin special this Valentines(too bad, I updated it too long plus I have bad memory)

If other people can celebrate their birthday alone and I can live my life without having a relationship per se', then maybe I can do that as well. That's hard. oohhh. Parang I hate myself when I wrote that a(lol) It's all in the mind.

I can grow up, within a minute of throwing some papers up and dusting every doorstep but that's a choice. And this is like the same old valentine's day I used to celebrate with someone, but this time, with my friends and some text messages of sweetie.

I didnt receive flowers from her, but got 3 white roses from a friend. Well, every girls in the office was given a flower. That came from Regin. I love it.

So even if we celebrate valentines spectacularly as we ever want to, if the situation wont allow it, I wont happen. It just will not happen.

I remembered the last time I joined my college friends to go to a salon and had our hair colored. Unfortunately, it didnt even appear evidently on my hair. I wonder why. After few weeks, it turned out black again. From then, I never colored my hair.

After a very long time, I was hesitant on having it colored again, but Anya and Eggie really wanted to have it done with me. OK OK. no complaints at all.

Phew, we were soo excited to hang out at Anya's place that Sunday so to speak, as I met Eggie in Buendia and planned to buy porn. LOL. O yeah. Porn "tsubahan" movie and trip the whole weekend.

I always wear the same long hair that grew over the years without trimming. I wasn't a fan of any beauty parlors so I asked my mom to trim it. Ayaw! Asar. So I always planned to have a hair cut, pero di naman lagi natutuloy.

Then one time, we went to the mall. Amber's with mom, Joy will have her face done and I was alone walking and shopping in the mall. BORING. So I decided to do the haircut na.

i went home earlier than the usual since that was my birthday. and on my way home, I only have one place in my mind to celebrate it. Bulalo Republic.

We were watching channel 7 when we learned about the place. cool place that the servers were wearing uniforms like soldiers, meralco officers, girlscouts and prisoners. we were amazed because of the new concept so I always wanted to check out the place.

The place is located in DRT highway in Baliuag, Bulacan. We left home at 6pm and we have double thoughts since we were not familiar with the place. We were really hesitant on finding it since we passed through a lot of beerhouses and casas along the highway and yeah, just right after the mouth watering girls outside the clubhouses and pimps outside, we'd seen the tommy sign ;)
