techno addict

I was about to buy a Samsung Digicam yesterday at P6k brand new but they don't have silver. They only have black. Too bad. I didnt pursue.
Jordan is selling his P990 phone for P9k. That's cheap though. But.. I like the iphone. I went online to check on it and darn, it's P27 grand. 'Das too much. I've seen it's clone selling at P7500 and this is an exact iphone replica. But is it good trying a cloned iphone? Risky.
I really dont know what I want. But I guess a TV phone is worth a try. They said they're to vulnerable and dangerous but this is an apple to buy. Camera-TV-cellphone in one. Why not.
Freak, I want to decide what I want to buy...arrrgh!!!

CURFEW?!

And another Martial Law begins.
There were a lot of people here in the office as early as 7pm. Agents usually come at around 9pm for their 10pm shift.
Well, that was the news that they told me when I opened up the office. There was a curfew imposed from 12 MN until 5 am. They said, if you were out at that time, police officers will just bring you to jail :)
How bout call center employees? ahh, not to worry, we all need to show out ids to prove that we are working in a call center. But that's hassle!

Rebellious Trillanes

I thought riding an MRT peacefully and gone home to sleep will make my day peaceful. Then text messages were coming in to check if Manila Peninsula is just near my place and if everything is okay.
I asked why. They said there's another coup de etat (did i spell it right? ;)) is going on.
I thought it was just a bluff and went sideways, closed my eyes and sleep. This time, I was awake by a phone call from my sister saying that I should not go to work. Again, the incident that was going on around Manila Pen was the issue.
I took bath and fix myself to go to work too early. I can no longer sleep. After I fixed myself, I turned on the TV and yeah, news about Trillianes was hot.
I rode a bus going to work and I was thinking I couldnt prolly see what was going on around Ayala area. But the bus went the other way, Paseo de Roxas since police officers and marines closed the area already.
I contented myself watching it on the tv at the bus as people came rushing in and prevented me from seeing the freakin news. Hell.
Well, here's the news. And I will just read T H I S.

starbucks planner 2008

They set November 6 as the start date to collect 24 stickers to be stamped on the Sparkhope card. Well, if we can remember, that was 21 stickers to collect last year. I wonder why they added 3 more.. hmm.
How much is the coffee again? A regular coffee in the pantry is at P10 per sachet. And the cheapest short hot latte is at P85. Praline Specials are at P145 for the tall frappe. Whew. I could buy a bottle of Nescafe for that.
But I love Starbucks. Or I just love the brand. Any coffee that has a brand and when people see me hanging out and reading books or magazines will make me richer. I guess this is the notion why coffee shops are hitting the market.
And now, people are crowding and lining up at Starbucks to have their sticker pad stamped up. Well, I guess it's not practical, just to say you are in, you have to have 1 starbucks planner.
It's actually a decent leather planner, with some stationary childish design with a starbucks pencil and greeting cards inside. Unlike last year's black leather cover, the 2008 planner, it is colored brown, and thin. Pencil with no eraser is included. And since the planner's outer cover is plain, there's a green and dark brown band that will hold the organizer.
Well, I'm a coffee lover and been drinking coffee whenever I feel like it. But for an organizer, nahh, I could get one on a cheaper place. Where else! internet :)
I've seen an ad posted about a starbucks planner for P1500. I texted him and arranged meeting with him today at Glorrieta. He lowered the price to P1000. Yep. That's a lot of savings.
And cool, I got to be the first one in the office to have it. :)

turning 4

Meet Amber.
Amber Renee Saguid. Born November 27, 2003. That's right. It's her birthday today. I never imagined I could make this lil baby the most beautiful one in the world(o yeah, all moms tell that theirs is the prettiest, but hell, my baby's the most ;) ).
Since she was a baby, I sensed that she's different. Nope. She's not a special child who needs special attention but she's different because she's too matured for her age.
When me and her dad separated, Amber was left with her titas and grandparents. I live in Makati which is much convenient from me to go at work. I only visited Amber every weekend.
Her titas take good care of Amber's needs and all and they send her to school. She's the youngest among her classmates but who cares! My daughter is the consistent Top 1 student there :).
..and she just turned 4 today. Nothing special as we thought. Her birthday party was held last Sunday and a lot of preparation was done to make it more special.
Check this out.

call center politics

Since I've been workin my ass up for the past hmm 4 years??? in a call center industry, I am not amazed by the fact that there are a lot of people encountered some incidents that is depriving, unauthorized and some what, not within company policies that made attrition on this kind of job higher than others.
Some were terminated because of not-so terminable cases, when the supervisors just dont like their agents, that agent can be terminated as soon as possible.
Some got their promotion because they're friends of those on the position. There goes a saying, " It doesn't matter how you work and what skills you got, but what matters are knowing who to befriend with."
And well, in my case, I have experienced that a lot. ahmm forgot scenes before but hell ya, I am one of those affected by that stupid system.
Have just experienced it when I passed the bid with my friend and sup's didnt want to sign it until we reached the deadline. hafto prove ourselves they're wrong. I just dont wanna give up and give `em an opportunity to laugh at us.
Well, politics is everywhere. and hell ya, in call center, we can say this is a survival of the fittest.

yes, freakin tired. what made me motivate to go to work is to earn money and pay my rent. well, hafto consider having a cute and makulit amber to add up, as well as other things like gimiks and all.
come on, we're all tired if were gonna be burning out ourselves workin our ass up just to earn more. yeah, better position but stupid a-hole boss will make me quit.
am i the boss? hmm yeah, they said i am, but how the hell can i manipulate what the boss wants if the boss that i have will make my life hell like HELL.
darn it, whatever my application takes, i guddam make myself clear to all. im the boss.

way too cool

way back to the condo, i was thinking about the past ex's that I had. It was soo funny I never felt anything bad anymore, yet I can say I have moved on already. I arrived there, planning to go on swimming, making love to the water again, but it was so freakin cold.
I went to shopwise instead, bought chicken and fried it while watching TV. after the dinner, I went inside my room to read book. Lanie knocked at my room and told me her break up story. I remember my story too. Funny, I was a bit hurt but was able to cope up with it. Yeah, like what I've told Lanie, she'll get through it.
I've watched Pirates of the Carribean: The curse of the black pearl. Nice movie and Johnny Depp gave justice on his role. savvy? :)

lanie's story

they were officemates and known each other for 2 years. odie is a married guy while lanie, is engaged most of the time with her family. they developed because of gimiks and night outs until they became too close and intimate. they were an item.
for months, they enjoyed each other's company and have been very much happy of being together for more than 8 hours a day. Lanie, on the other hand became close to God and went to church more often than before. why?
though she was happy with Odie, her guilt was killing her because everything reminded her that Odie still is a married man, and was a father of 2. She's open for the fact that they won't be together in any ways or another.
Until Odie broke the news that he will be going to Singapore for an EVP job. She cried but she couldn't let her boyfriend passed the opportunity for him.
They were together almost everyday until last Friday, they went to the condo and they cuddled each other. Odie broke up with her. They both knew that that would be their last night together. They promised each other their love but that will stop them from then on. Lanie just cried.
Last Sunday, Lanie approached me, told me the stories about the sorrowful ending Odie and her had been. I never said a word. I just listened. That was the end of their beautiful story. But I guess that reminded me of how mature Lanie was, and how I must be like her, mature and strong and ready to face whatever challenges I'll face when it comes to a love relationship.

blast from the past

...2 months of not being together with that past someone, and i'm surprised i can still carry on. i almost forgot, oh, yeah, monthsary nga pala. i was just smiling remembering that stupidity of making someone a bestfriend and assuming that we're both the same on almost everything.
